I am an independent artist, filmmaker, freelance video trainer, yoga teacher from Armenia. I do arts and crafts to add some harmony and colors to my daily reality, and also to find and spread impulses of healthy, green consciousness around. I believe that art is a strong tool for change and I believe museums are not the best shelters for it. I wish there would be more art on the streets than in the museums, more music in the hearts than in electronic devices. I would plant trees on the places of museums and would hang art right on them, if there would not appear any better way to treat art. With the Smart Crafts initiative I am trying to realize some dreams. I know that dreams are infective. I hope my efforts will contribute in the global movement of self-employment, joy and freedom, as well as will help me and my girlfriend Inga to earn for our travels and activities.
More crafts more fair trade, more freedom of choice, less environmental damage, more happy beings, more peace:) more fun!:)
When I draw I mark my path in the space of time and matter, on paper…
When I see dreams i jump back and forward in time and matter…
When i hold the clay on potter’s wheel I feel the spin of the earth…
When I do yoga I feel the spin of the universe…
When I talk I see how the words jump into eternity and become ornaments…
When I travel I follow the path I was drawing earlier on paper…
When I draw on human body the mind maps become multidimensional…
When I read, the pages of the book stay, the reality turns…
When I tell about the eco-paradise of the future, I create memories of future, and then, while remembering them, I feel how it starts becoming real…

Ich bin ein freischaffender Künstler, Filmemacher, Videotrainer und Yogalehrer aus Armenien. Ich mache Kunst und Kunsthandwerk, um meiner täglichen Realität mehr Harmonie und Farbe zu geben und auch um Impulse gesunden, grünen Gewissens zu finden und weiter zu verbreiten. Ich glaube, Kunst ist ein starkes Werkzeug, um Wandel herbeizuführen und ich denke Museen sind nicht der beste Raum dafür. Ich wünschte, es gäbe mehr Kunst auf der Straße als in den Museen, mehr Musik in den Herzen als in elektronischen Geräten. Ich würde Bäume an die Plätze der Museen pflanzen und die Kunst in sie hängen, sofern nicht eine bessere Art auftaucht, mit Kunst umzugehen. Mit der Smart Crafts Initiative versuche ich einige Träume zu realisieren. Ich weiß, Träume sind ansteckend. Ich hoffe meine Arbeit trägt zur globalen Bewegung der Selbstständigkeit, Freude und Freiheit bei, ebenso wird es meiner Freundin Inga und mir helfen, etwas für unsere Reisen und Aktivitäten zu verdienen.
Mehr Kunsthandwerk, mehr fairer Handel, mehr Freiheit der Wahl, weniger Umweltschäden, mehr glückliche Wesen, mehr Frieden, mehr Spaß!
