Wusste ein kluger Herrscher einst keinen Rat, so rief er seinen Narren. Der spielte ein Lied oder erzählte ein Gleichnis, zog seinen Spiegel oder verbarg den Rat in einer Metapher. Sein Herr kam schließlich selbst zum Schluss.

Doch wo sind die Narren geblieben?
Armut und Überfluss, Sinnsuche und Krise, Erstarrung in der Konsumspirale – und kein fester Stand in Sicht?
Was ist ein gutes Leben und was macht wirklich Sinn? Warum fällt Veränderung so schwer?
Wohin wachsen wir und auf wessen Kosten?
Und wer bestimmt das (für uns) mit?
Die Kunst setzt die Narrenkappe auf, macht Ungesehenes sichtbar und lenkt den Blick auf ungewöhnliche Perspektiven. Sie bricht auf und verflüssigt, setzt in Gang und bringt zum Schwingen. Sie macht Lust aufs Leben, öffnet Wege, Räume, Herz und Verstand. Sie befreit die Stimme und ermutigt die Hand.
Die Kunst spricht durch jeden Menschen.

« Kunstsommer » is a festival featuring ten artists that are going to work with us on exploring those themes for ourselves in our own artistic ways:
Theater, Music, Sculpting, Singing, Creating Masks and Sculptures, Colour- and Papermanufacturing… everything is possible, we´re « upcycling » our world.
We explore aesthetic, social and psychic structures of the « litter-phenomenom », develope critical perspectives, creative strategies and artistic interventions to return to a healthy consciousness.
Kids, Families, Youths and an international workcamp will be there… and… you?
Apart of working with those themes, that move and concern us all, you will be able to meet people from all over the world which will give you the chance to get a better idea of what it means to be an active part of a global community. There´s a great chance to get to know new perspectives and for cultural interchange, which will certainly enrich us all!
The fine print: It takes all but 150€ to participate but it won´t flatline because of the money…!
